Welcome to my blog! I am an Associate Professor at Concordia University and an affiliate faculty member at the Mila Quebec AI Institute. Previously, I was a researcher at FAIR (Meta), Criteo, and INRIA (Parietal team).

My research interests include: neural scaling laws, optimization, ML phenomena (grokking, adversarial examples, model collapse), random matrix theory / free probability, privacy and fairness in machine learning, as well as theoretical aspects of deep learning more broadly.
